01How often does it need inspection?

Follow the inspection interval in your installation guide. A visual check costs nothing and takes a minute — do it whenever you think of it.

02Can a child use it?

The device is speed-regulated from 30 to 125 kg — a 30 kg child descends at the same controlled speed as a 125 kg adult, automatically.

03What if the power is out?

It needs no power at all. No batteries, no electronics — a fully mechanical friction-braking system, unaffected by an outage.

04How long does installation take?

It's a permanent building fixture you install yourself. Follow the guide that ships with the unit — no engineer visit is required.

05Can it be reused?
